Since August 2019, I am employed at the University of Applied Sciences for Prevention and Health Management (DHfPG) as professor in the field of Sports and Health Informatics. In 2019, I received my Dr.-Ing. from Saarland University in Germany on the topic “Measuring User Experience for Virtual Reality”. From 2014 to 2019, I was a researcher and doctoral student at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
I was part of the research and development team of the Ubiquitous Media Technologies Lab (UMTL) and the Innovative Retail Laboratory (IRL), and dealt with the main topic of technological development of demonstrators, focused on virtual reality shopping. Within the Software Campus, a development program sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, I investigated the opportunities and risks of an online VR shopping platform.
